Helsingborg are looking to put some distance between them and their followers. They have 5 wins in a row and seems they will not stop here! IFK Goteborg managed to win last night and are now the leaders of Allsvenskan, but if the home team will win today, will be again on top.
Helsinborg won the title 2 seasons ago, Elfsborg won last season so this is a real derby.

I wrote many times about the fact that Elsfborg is playing poor on natural turf and very good on their artificial turf. That never changed and that is a huge gap for them. We always had many goals when these two met so probably will be seeing that again.
Elfsborg are undefeated in last matches, but this is a real test for them. |

Tromso are one of the best sides in Europe at home. They are rarely defeated here and are winning in most of the cases. Last time here they have crushed Sarpsborg 5-0.
This season have scored 9 and conceded 3 in 4 games.
They will not have tonight Adnan Causevic in defensive that being their only absentee for the Brann Bergen clash.
Tromnso should continue their good run here.

Brann are on the opposite side as they perform very poor away from home. If they won all the 6 meetings at home, they lost all the 4 meetings away scoring just 1 and conceding 11!
They are on the 3rd spot anyway, but will be under huge pressure in the northern arena in Norway.
Brann will have to watch their steps here cause they might get a serious mauling! |

Aalesund have been much better than expected before this season as they are 4th at the table with 5-2-3 and 17 points. The most impressive from Aalesund have been the amount of goals that they have scored, and especially their form at home. They are unbeaten at Color Line Stadium with 3-2-0 and 16-6 on goal difference at this pitch.Although Aalesund have 1-1-3 in their last five games, they have lost all away from home against strong sides in Valerenga (2-1 defeat), Molde (4-1 defeat) and Brann (2-0) in their last game. Their two games at home have also been against strong opponents in Rosenborg (2-2 draw) and Lillestrom (7-1 win) so the results have been as predicted, but with two huge results from their two recent home games.

Odd BK is a totally different story. With 2-2-6 and 7-12 in goal difference so far this season, they are in the relegation zone with only eight points. They have shown some glimts of their potential with a victory against Lillestrom (2-1) four weeks ago, and a strong draw against Stromsgodset three weeks ago (1-1). It`s now official, Rapid will play on a lower division after 2 decades with great results in the top tier: 2 titles, 3 runners-up positions and 4 Cups and an UEFA Cup quarter-final. The team had no problems on the pitch, as they will finish the season on a mid-table position (probably on 8th or 9th spot), but they were unable to get the license for the next season and is now confirmed that they will be relegated. This is not the worst scenario for Rapid, which could get bankrupted and start from the 5th division. |

"U" Cluj was one of the most in-form clubs from the league, with a 5W-3D-2L record in the previous 10 rounds ahead of the Iasi game and it seemed that they will have no problems to avoid the drop, but they have been denied the license for the next season and the players accused the shock, being defeated on their home pitch by second from the bottom, Iasi (0-2). Iasi have lost their last home game vs top3 contender, Astra and their only chance to keep alive their hopes to avoid the drop was a victory on the road vs in-form "U" Cluj. The hosts took amends of their opponents` morale problems (they didn`t get the license for the next season) and recorded a huge win (2-0), their first success after a bad run of 6 games without a win (5 defeats). They are still on a relegation spot, but fortunately for them, Chiajna only managed a draw vs CFR, while Ceahlaul have lost against Otelul, which means that a victory vs Medias would see them only 2 points behind salvation. |

Gaz Metan Medias have accomplished their goal for this season, as they will finish the campaign on mid-table (10th or 11th position), so the players are already on vacation mood. There was an obvious loosening on last rounds, as Gaz Metan have won only once in the last 4 rounds (by contrast, they have won 10 points in the previous 4 rounds) and they have been beaten by Otelul on their home ground on last game. |
